Garland Waugh, LLB, Managing Partner at Garland Law, served in the Military as a Military Officer after successfully completing his Military training at the prestigious Royal Military Academy, Sandhurst, United Kingdom (UK). Garland Waugh is a graduate of the University of Wolverhampton (UK) and the Norman Manley Law School. His main areas of focus are Criminal and Civil Litigation, Probate and Administration, however he is also critically involved in the firm’s other areas of work such as Conveyancing, drafting and reviewing Contracts. Between 2012 & 2014, he was in charge of the Ocho Rios and Browns Town offices of Murray and Tucker Attorneys-at-Law where he conducted a vast majority of Labour Relations and Human Resource matters with one of their client the Grand Bahai Resort and Spa Hotel in Runaway Bay, Saint Ann. He also represented numerous clients in contractual disputes with the Noranda Jamaica Bauxite Partners as it relates to land acquisition, resettlement and the re-development of communities.
Leon Green, Consulting Partner at Garland Law, was called to the Bar at Gray’s Inn, London, England in November 1967, and was admitted to practice in several Courts of Jamaica in 1968. Mr. Green has developed a track record as a renowned Attorney with a distinguished track record of successful practice, providing legal services in all branches of the law, with emphasis in the areas of Conveyance, Probate and Administration, Real Estate based Civil Litigation, and Commercial Law. He has also done extensive study in Labour Relations especially in his role as Advisor to the late Rt. Hon. Prime Minister, Michael Manley on matters of Trade and Labour Relations.
